There is a national shortage of blood bottles expected to last until at least the 17th September 2021 which is effecting all healthcare providers.
We have therefore been informed by the NHS to postpone all non-urgent blood tests
We are extremely sorry for the inconvenience. This is something that is completely beyond our control.
We are expecting our first delivery of flu vaccines early next month and will shortly be sending out invites asking eligible patients to book an appointment. Please do not contact us until you have received an invitation..
Like last year we will run our clinic’s at the surgery with patients queuing from the car park. (Please note that there will be no parking at the surgery for flu appointments). We will also offer a service for housebound patients and contact them separately.
Once you have received an invite, if you are able, please use the NHS App or Patient Access to book your slot. If you do NOT have access to the internet then we would ask you to call between 12.30 and 4.30 pm when you receive your invite. Flu appointments will not be able to be booked by phone outside of these times.
Invites will be sent out in batches, starting with our oldest and most vulnerable patients so please do not worry if you do not get an invite in the next few days.
More information about the seasonal influenza vaccine can be found at https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/vaccinations/flu-influenza-vaccine/
We are presently awaiting further guidance regarding the next phase of any COVID vaccination programme which if needed will be undertaken in separate clinic’s
