Both the above link and the NHS 111 online coronavirus service can be used if you are suffering with symptoms of coronavirus and will advise you what to do if you do not think you can manage your symptoms.

All GP appointments are either by telephone or video consultation and should there be a need for you to see a GP face to face following your consultation then this will be arranged for you but not necessarily at the surgery. Nurse appointments are all pre-booked and we ask that you attend only at your appointment time and follow the instructions given to you on booking which will mean waiting outside till you are called in. We would also ask that you attend wearing a face covering when ever you visit the practice.
Prescription requests can also be requested using the prescription line on 0121 445 1704 option 4 or requested electronically via the NHS APP or Patient Access (more details of how to sign up to this can be found on our website https://barntgreen.gpsurgery.net/. Your request one authorised will be sent electronically within 72 hours to the pharmacy you have nominated. Please contact the pharmacy direct to check they have received your prescription rather than contacting the surgery to see if it has been issued
If you need to drop a sample or letter please do not enter the building if others are waiting at the desk but when you do there will be boxes available for you to leave either your sample or correspondence.
The practice is working to ensure it can send as much correspondence and information to you in an electronic format so would ask if you do contact us that you ensure we have your up to date email and mobile telephone number.
The phone lines to the practice are extremely busy and we would ask for your patience when trying to contact us. Where possible please do try to send any correspondence that you need to pass on to the clinical team using our email address email@example.com. Please do not use this email for a new medical matter unless directly asked to by a member of the team or as a means to request that a Doctor call you. Please contact the surgery direct for this
The government has issued guidance to support the public returning to work and unless you are shielding you should contact your employer to discuss this

Due to the present COVID-19 pandemic the practice has moved to a triage appointment system. You can call the practice and we will arrange for you to be called back by a clinician. Please ensure you confirm you contact number and keep your phone with you.
DO NOT COME TO THE SURGERY UNLESS YOU ARE REQUESTED TO DO SO BY A CLINICIAN.
Where possible use our online service to request repeat medication ensuring that you nominate a pharmacy that you will collect this from and your prescription will be sent directly there.
